Events and notable things!
2011 – Founded
Foxwells Garden Skype group founded with 3 members.
2013 – The Minecraft Era
- Started an IRC server at
foxwells.ddns.net. - Foxwells Skype became a hub for people playing SuperFunTime and NobleCraft.
2015 – Discord Testing
- Unofficially moved to Discord under the name Mogeko's Castle.
- Experimented with bots, themed channels, and light roleplay.
2016 - Discord Merge
- IRC server was killed; Skype phased out.
- Renamed Mogeko's Castle to Foxwells Garden.
- New members added through anime, tech, and gaming interest servers.
2017 – Memework and Discord Bots
- People joined from DBots and Memework-adjacent communities.
2018 – Too Big
- Went fully public; many people joined.
- Moderation became a nightmare.
2019 – Rebirth and DVD Rentals
- Server was nuked due to too many members and conflicts; recreated privately.
- Many new and old members joined.
#dvd-rentalsgatekept channel created; very active; included Minecraft servers.
2020 – Blockbuster Shuts Down
- Mixing friend groups caused the downfall of
#dvd-rentals. - Members started playing the Metastruct GMod server.
- IRC returned as UnrealIRCd at
nuclear.foxwells.garden.
2021 – Petoria Split
- Controversial discussions led to discomfort and member loss; many moved to Petoria.
2022 – Restructure
- Channels archived.
- "The vins" became moderators.
2023 – IRCd Switch and Pizza
- Switched from UnrealIRCd to ngircd (nuclear homeserver decommissioned).
- We cooked a pizza in Sven-Coop.
2024 – Quiet Era
- Little activity reported; core members remained active.
2025 – Present Day
- Foxwells Garden continues as a semi-private, creativity-first community.
- We cooked a pizza in Sven-Coop again.
- Everybody is now addicted to Wordle for some reason.
